Whirly Girl Ink, Inc.

​Whirly Girl Ink, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering students through STEM education, robotics, and coding. Through hands-on robotics competitions, coding workshops, and mentorship programs, the organization fosters innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork while inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders. As a proud supporter of FIRST Robotics, Whirly Girl Ink, Inc. provides opportunities for students to engage in FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition, helping them develop critical thinking, engineering, and leadership skills. Founded by a female veteran, the organization brings leadership, resilience, and a passion for education to its mission.

AUVSI Pathfinders Grant

Guided by our Chapter objectives:

a) Provide an organization for individuals who have a common interest in, and who wish to foster and expand, the domain of Unmanned Vehicle Systems

b) Advance technology

c) Exchange ideas and information in the field of Unmanned Vehicle Systems and to recognize the advances and contributions thereto, and

d) Promote the education of the membership and the general public in the field of Unmanned Vehicle Systems

e) Document the history of Unmanned Vehicle Systems 

We have continued to challenge ourselves to provide opportunities for our members and the local community through our annual symposium, grant programs, support of local robotics events and our partnership with the AUVSI Pathfinder student chapter at the University of Alabama Huntsville (UAH).

Lockheed Martin- Rotary and Mission Systems Grant

Our portfolio features more than 1,000 programs, including helicopters, integrated air and missile defense, littoral warfare, undersea warfare, radar, electronic warfare, cyber solutions, C4ISR, and training and logistics systems. The business area supports the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy and Missile Defense Agency, as well as intelligence, civil, commercial and international military customers.

RMS employs approximately 35,000 people in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Australia. Madison Street Festival Grant

Madison Street Festival “MSF” a 501c3 organization will motivate and support students of all ages and abilities by providing access to education and educational programs. This will be accomplished by providing but not limited to:

1. Grants awarded to educational programs.
2. Supporting community literacy programs.
